Funtaj Trade Fair
There are days you don’t forget and Saturday at Funtaj International School, Gudu Campus, was one of them.
The hall was alive. Not just with color and sound, but with something deeper. A sense of Community, joy, and connection. It was beyond just trade fair; Actually, it felt like homecoming. Parents, students, and alumni came together, not just to browse through vendor stands, but to share stories, laughter, and memories.
There were stands brimming with everything you could imagine, from beaded accessories that sparkled under the lights, to the rich aroma of freshly grilled food and warm pastries that drew you in like a hug. People weren’t just buying; they were bonding. You could see it in the smiles, hear it in the laughter, and feel it in the air. It was a day you could never forget even though you try to,
What struck me most wasn’t the variety of vendors (which was amazing, by the way), it was how everyone belonged. You saw alumni reconnecting like no time had passed, current students excited to show off their school, and parents proudly supporting not just their children, but the wider Funtaj family.
It wasn’t perfect. Kids were running around, snacks were disappearing too fast, and music occasionally drowned out conversation but maybe that’s what made it real. It was full. It was alive. It was us.
If you were there, you felt it.
And if you missed it, trust me, you missed something special.
